But for a moment the whole world comes to. Wakes up. Proves it lives. It lives— red, yellow, orange, brown, russet, ocher, vermilion, gold. Fla-me and rust.
Excerpt from "Leaves" by Lloyd Schwartz
On that note, let me keep it brief and just say this: I sat on the porch this evening with a blanket and a mugful of steaming cider, watching the sun set. I stayed out until the first star put in an appearance and I could no longer take just how much I was missing the Man. Now I'm inside, sensibly working on lesson plans, which I should've just done in the first place.

I saw the first star that came out here tonight...seriously. and little bit of the moon. I was reminded that the same God who created the beautiful stars and moon and mountains around me is watching over you. I miss you back, and I love you so very much, sweetheart.
Yours,
Yos
I was considering putting a comment on your last post. Then I pondered the fact that "modern art" is an oxymoron, and as for "abstract art", well, the less said the better.
The steaming cider smells really good from here. And which star was it?
My warning to you was regarding creating an online journal which leans towards narcissism. But I love your modern art not like our philistine uncle. :)
looked up the quote and found it *was* originally italicised. but you have this way of making everything you love italicised, even audibly... and i hope you have many more evenings of soaking up life. threats are good options too.
